TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

 

Agreements - The client agrees that they are entering into an agreement with Matt Jackson, trading as WebWiseWords, upon payment of the initial project fee. The terms of this agreement will be made during initial contact between the client and WebWiseWords and confirmed by email or in writing.

 

Client confidentiality - Any and all information provided by the client is treated as confidential and will not be sold, disclosed, or forwarded to any party outside WebWiseWords without prior agreement with the client.

 

Charges and advance payments – Projects purchased directly through the WebWiseWords website require full payment of the project fee up-front before work commences. Alternatively, the client may choose to pay 50% of the fee up-front and the remaining 50% on completion and acceptance of the project but this needs to be agreed with WebWiseWords before the purchase is made.

 

Project Completion Time – The time required for every project differs. Where WebWiseWords provides timeframes on their website for instant purchases, they adhere to deliver the first draft of any agreed pages within this timeframe unless otherwise agreed with the client. For agreements made by email or through other direct communication, the completion time will be dictated by that agreement.

 

Provision of information – The more background information, company and marketing data provided by the customer, the simpler the role of the website content writer. Some work simply cannot be completed without some background knowledge. The client agrees that WebWiseWords is unable to commence work until any requested information is provided.

 

Rewrites and amendments – WebWiseWords offers a full money back guarantee to ensure that clients are completely satisfied. Any rewrites or amendments that fall within the initial scope of the project will be completed by WebWiseWords and included in the project fee. If the client is completely unhappy with the work produced, and following WebWiseWords best endeavours to make the appropriate amendments, then all money for that project will be returned or waived. In these cases, WebWiseWords retains all rights to the completed content and the client is not permitted to use it in any way.

 

Refunds – Refunds of payments will be made to the client within 5 working days of the customer's request.

 

Copyright and content ownership – The copyright and all rights to the completed content will transfer to the client once full and final payment has been completed. WebWiseWords always appreciates the opportunity to provide a link to completed work but will seek specific agreement from the client before using their content in this way.

 

Plagiarism – WebWiseWords agrees to write original, unique content and articles for clients as per the terms of the agreement. Any work that the client believes to be plagiarised or copied, and with documented proof gained from sites and services like copyscape.com or plagiarismchecker.com will be refunded.

 

Changes to the agreed scope of work - We appreciate that the scope of a project can change from time to time. WebWiseWords will always make any amendments necessary that fall within the scope of the initial agreement and we will endeavour to make any other minor changes that might otherwise change the scope of the project. However, any requests for amendments or changes that fall outside the original remit may attract an extra charge. In these cases, WebWiseWords will contact the client before making the changes and agree to any additional costs before commencing.
